ONTARIO LAWN BOWLS ASSOCIATION AWARDS:
 

Club Membership Awards: At the end of the bowling season, but before the OLBA Fall Meeting in October, the database administrator will prepare a report to determine which clubs will receive the awards... new sets of lawn bowls. It is not necessary for clubs to make applications for these awards.

a) Greatest actual number of new members
b) Greatest net gain in membership
c) Greatest actual gain of new JUNIOR members

Plaques to clubs celebrating anniversaries of 75 years or more.

Certificates to clubs celebrating anniversaries of less than 75 years.

Membership Certificates for members with 25 or more years of membership.

Lifetime Membership Certificates - clubs may award these to deserving members.

Certificates of Appreciation for contributions and work done on behalf of the club, greens, tournaments, work on the executive, fund-raising, promotions, publicity, etc.

Bowls Buddy Certificates for encouraging and teaching new bowlers the game of bowls, making them feel involved in club activities, helping in programs designed to gain new members and keep them interested in the sport.

Beaver Pins - being an “eager beaver” in helping the club to function ($5.00).

Membership Increase Award:  OLBA gives prizes for the highest membership increases in the province.  Winners of the largest increases are named at the Fall Meeting.

Volunteer of the Year:  Every club across the province has volunteers that go above and beyond the call of duty.  Most clubs or organizations can't function without these tremendous individuals.  If your club has someone within it, who you feel is deserving of the highest recognition that our sport has to offer, please forward a nomination and full details and a description of this special person to:
