As all provincial championships have been cancelled and we're likely looking at very limited competitions this year, we have extended all umpire registrations another year for all umpires who were in good standing as of February 2020. This means you should add 2 years to the expiration of your umpire card. We won't be issuing new cards, but we will advise the districts that umpire cards should be extended.

We have received a few questions regarding which laser bowls measures are acceptable for official use. At present, the only laser measure approved by World Bowls is the Bowlsline Laser Measure*. Any other measure, regardless of whether it is advertised as a bowls measure, should not be used. *This link is provided solely for reference purposes. OLBA does not endorse nor do we have any relationship with the Bowlsline company.
