To submit your response as an attachment to an e-mail, please highlight your answers (e.g. yes/no questions, multiple choice) in
green. We have inserted text boxes for comment responses; click inside the box and type in your observations and comments.
Please submit your completed survey no later than 28 February 2015.
A summary of responses to the survey will be prepared and form the basis for the next step in the Review process. Individual identifiers will not be included in the summary.
While on holiday in New York City, I was saddened to learn that my good friend Bob O'Neil, Head Umpire of Ontario, had passed away.
This has necessitated some change in plans to hold an Ontario Level One Umpires Test.
Bob had worked hard for many years as Head Umpire and we had planned to meet and put the testing programme in place for 2015.
We had updated the test and only the dates with possible locations needed to be established.
Thank you for your support of Bob and myself in the past and hope the support will continue in the future.
I will continue to work with officiating for you and I am pleased that OLBA will offer the Ontario Level One test in 2015.
Details will be announced at the Spring OLBA meeting.
Those members who have already applied will be notified by me as soon as the date, etc. is finalized.
Anyone wishing to apply, can do so by sending me an e-mail:
email@example.com OR by phoning me at 519-537-3212
The OLBA would like to express with deepest sadness the loss of long time board member Bob O'Neil. Bob has been a true professional in his time with lawn bowls serving as a club representative, district executive, a long time executive director on the OLBA Board, and as Chief Umpire for Ontario.
He loved his family and enjoyed being an important part of the lawn bowls community. He was extremely dedicated to the OLBA, providing countless volunteer hours to better the sport. Our sincere condolences go out to his children, his grandchildren, and his wife Pam. He will truly be missed.
