Bowls Canada Boulingrin has just completed a two-year consultation process regarding the national competition structure of bowls in Canada.
Recognizing that it is next to impossible to design a structure that will meet the approval of every Canadian bowler, the NationalCompetition Review & Restructuring Analysis Report presents a summary of recommendations that were carefully considered to best represent a balanced approach to: · provide a clear pathway for bowler development, · address existing concerns with the current competition structure, · meet the priority competition principles as validated over the course of the review process, and · create a model that will help clubs, PSOs and BCB grow the sport.
The OLBA Championship Committee will be providing its recommendation to the OLBA board in the next few weeks. In the meantime, OLBA and Bowls Canada Boulingrin are working together to ensure that your voice is heard. A series of webinars will be set up to provide more information and to address questions and concerns.
