Membership DocumentsThe 2022/23 OLBA affiliation fee will be $35. This includes the contribution for Bowls Canada as well, which has switched to a flat fee structure for the provincial associations instead of a per member fee.
Insurance - It was noted that all clubs MUST comply with all required protocols in the event there is still a pandemic situation. Any non-compliance could result in the loss of insurance coverage. If anyone has any questions regarding the insurance coverage, they are to contact John Fantin, OLBA Treasurer at email address fantin@olba.ca. Membership Rosters - It is crucial that all names, addresses & phone numbers of all members who register to play at your club or any changes be sent to Elaine Stevenson at membership@olba.ca. The OLBA will be using the 2021 roster for the purpose of accident insurance coverage as well as for invoicing of the 2022 affiliation fees for only those named individuals. During the 2022 season, clubs should forward the names of new or non-returning members to Elaine periodically throughout the season. Club Executives - It is also crucial that names of your club executives be sent to Elaine Stevenson immediately following your fall meeting. Police Checks - It is also mandatory for club executives, board of directors and coaches to have police checks that are current. The OLBA will reimburse clubs with proper documentation up to $15 for each police check completed. Templates and support letters for Request for Vulnerable Sector Check (RVSC) on the Safe Sport & OLBA page. Thanks for your assistance. John Fantin & Elaine Stevenson
