In 2018, because of the traffic around the GTA, Georgina Lawn Bowling Club switched the start time of this tournament to 9:30 am from 10:00 am and changed the format from 4 Bowls Pairs to 3 Bowls Pairs.These changes allow the bowlers to be finished bowling and on the road shortly after 3 pm and it makes a difference in travel time to the participants.
