KLBC hosted its final tournament of the year on Sunday. It was sponsored by Barry Batson Carpentry and featured 14 teams from a variety of clubs...we had teams from Ottawa, Prescott, and Iroquois in the east to Trenton, Belleville, and Campbellford in the west.
Each team had to have at least one novice ["N"] player, and the skip *had* to be a novice.
The winners were:
1st 3--game winner: Pierre Vanderhout [N], Curtis Wartman [N], and Ursula Cooney. [Kingston]
2nd 3-game winner: John Dundas [N], Cathy Archer Maher [N], and Maureen Butler. [Kingston]
High 2-game winner: Louise Warr [N], Charlie Rowbotham, and Harry McMurter. [Belleville]
High 1-game winner: David Dobbing [N], Isabelle Dobbing [N], and Terry Triskle. [Iroquois]
