90 Year Old Skip leads team to Victory
The Chemong Family Dental Womens Triples Tournament was held at the Peterborough Lawn Bowling Club on June 26, 2019.
A Peterborough team skipped by 90 Year old Pat Gallimore along with Sheila Lane (vice) and Anna Panton (lead) were the winners.
In second place was the Bobcaygeon team of Marilyn McBain, Shirley Judge and Freddi Wenzel.
Taking home third prize was Sharron Morrison, Sheila Morrison and Donna Morrison from the Oshawa Club.
Also recognized as one game high winners was the team of Maureen Guppy (Lindsay), Alice Matthews (Oshawa) and Mary Mininch (Peterborough).
Bridget Masterson (Peterborough), Baylee Van Steijn (Cobourg), and Cori Millard (Lindsay) also entered the tournament as Juniors and played extremely well.
